I just wanted to write to say how much of a fabulous establishment you have. My boyfriend and I stayed at Montville last weekend and upon the recommendation of our hosts at the Oceanview Cottages, we decided to have dinner at the Montville Pub on the Saturday night. I have to say the courtesy bus was definitely a big drawcard too! It was nice to be able to have a couple of drinks together and not have to worry about driving home in the dark in an unfamiliar area.
Anyway, the service you guys provide is absolutely amazing. Every staff member we had the pleasure of talking too was incredibly friendly and genuinely seemed to enjoy working there, which is not often something you get to see very often, and they were more than willing to help us out whether it was deciding what to have from the menu or explaining the ingredients in our meals. Not only was the service great but the food was superb! I had the prawns which were possibly the most delicious I've ever eaten in my life and my boyfriend, who was torn between the pork belly and guiness pie, which he ended up choosing, loved the pie so much I'm under strict instructions to learn how to make it!
I also wanted to say a really big thank-you to the staff member who drove the courtesy bus to pick us up and drop us home again. Thank you to him for not only coming out to pick us up in the pouring rain (and flooded roads) from a hard to get to place, up a really long driveway, and for taking us back again, but for the great conversation in the car, the very friendly service and for putting up with my (sometimes) terrible stories on the way home. Your hospitality and friendliness was really appreciated.
You guys made what was already a fabulous weekend even more fantastic, so thank-you. We're really looking forward to stopping back in next time we're in the area!

Wanted to thank you and your staff again for the great hospitality, fantastic food and wonderful service that we received last night (5.10.10) when we celebrated our youngest child's 14th Birthday. The extra special touch was when you bought out the little birthday cake surprise for Brady. "Very Special". We feel a little embarrassed that we, as locals, have only just discovered the wonderful Montville Cafe Bar Grill. But we will be back for lots more.

From the moment we walked into the Montville Cafe Bar and Grill we were blown away by its homely and cosy atmosphere. We took our family out for dinner to celebrate our daughter's birthday on 6th July 2009. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and we felt right at home. The efficient staff seemed genuinely friendly and enjoying their work which speaks great volumes for this professional establishment. All of our meals were delicious. We were particularly impressed with the musical entertainment, which made our evening even more enjoyable. Looking forward to visiting again.

We are six friends who now live in the area but previously we all lived in Darwin NT and had a yearly tradition of celebrating all our birthdays [together]. This year we spent the night in Montville ... at your pub. I would just like to thank everyone who made it a great night for us. From the balloons decorating our table to the wonderful food and great service, especially the girls who delivered our deserts with sparklers blazing and singing their hearts out. We will definitely be recommending you to all our friends and anyone trying to think of somewhere to have a great night out.
