MARGY MANFIELD
The former lead singer for various rock bands during the 1980s and early '90s, Margy Manfield is now is one of the Sunshine Coast's most popular solo performers. Her bright, breezy personality and straight-from-the-heart delivery wows audiences of all ages. With a repertoire covering classics from the 1940s to the 1990s, this polished performer and national recording artist will have you singing and dancing the night away. Favourites include songs by the Carpenters, Bette Midler, Joni Mitchel, Patsy Cline, Amy Grant, Linda Rondstadt, Dusty Springfield, Sade and Janis Ian. [dates]

 

KIT COTTER
Having performed in ten countries, including UK, China and USA, this multi-insrumentalist has also appeared on television in three of those, and had his songs broadscast in New Zealand, Australia and Spain. Over the last two decades, he has worked with musicians from iconic bands like Grover Washington Jnr, Men At Work, Renee Geyer and John Farnham, as well as touring with Brian Cadd. His solo performances exhibit a variety of genres, including his own arrangements of pop, country, latin and jazz standards as well as some of his own compositions. [dates]

 

LARA-JANE THOMPSON
Since late 2008, Lara-Jane Thompson has focused on recording and performing her originals, as well as developing a deliciously diverse repertoire of cruisey, acoustic covers of beautiful or unusual songs from the 1960s through to now. Influenced by artists such as Cat Stevens, Joni Mitchell, Carole King, Jack Johnson and Eva Cassidy, Lara-Jane admits to being enamoured with "the whole jazz/funk/blues realm" but also writes and performs songs well outside those categories. Singing is her main thing, but she also plays keyboard and guitar. [dates]

 

JACQUI NICHOLSON
A solo artist who until recently has always played on the 'originals' scene around the coast and overseas, Jacqui's repertoire has been influenced by an eclectic array of artists such as Aretha Franklin, Jewel, Madonna, The Waifs and Tracy Chapman. She plays and sings a variety of acoustic covers consisting of laid-back and upbeat tunes, ranging from the 1950s to the present, appealing to a broad audience of all ages. [dates]

 

ANDREW MUTZE
A performer since the age of twelve, Andy has a strong reputation working throughout Australia as a skilled and talented drummer and guitarist. In addition to his solo performances playing a broad range of styles from the 1950s to now, he also performs with the Julian Jones Jazz Trio, the Brian Carlon Duo, the Maqus Band, and The Associates. BRIAN CARLON
A full-time musician performing a wide range of genres from jazz to all-out rock, Brian Carlin is lead singer for a variety of bands including The Shake It Up All Stars and The Maqus Band. He also plays solo gigs throughout Australia on piano or guitar with vocals. Appealing to a fan-base aged from 18 to 80, Brian's range, flexibility and experience as a musical therapist provides him with the freedom to deliver an extensive musical repertoire. [dates]

 

JULIAN JONES
With a repertoire including a strong dose of the American songbook plus some Latin standards and reharmonisations of popular tunes by various artists, Julian Jones brings his own distinctive style to all his musical gigs. He is a superb nylon-string guitarist and fine vocalist whose skills have been honed over years of professional performances in a wide variety of jazz, Latin, pop and rock styles. He has worked extensively in both Australia and the USA. [dates]
